Oversized Cone Surface with Tight Bass
The shallow-mount subwoofer that comes preloaded in the TS-SWX2002 utilizes an oversized cone structure that provides greater cone and gasket surface without changing its standard external dimension. This cone surface allows the subwoofer to produce louder deeper bass by moving more air. It is made of highly rigid cone made of MICA injection-molded resin which creates a rigid and durable cone, giving it the ability to produce accurate bass. The subwoofer includes a dual spider to provide more cone motion control for optimized stiffness stabilizing the excursion of the cone and support the subwoofer's linear movement for accurate bass response.
Angled Push Terminals
Traditional subwoofer terminals are mounted horizontally or vertically. These mounts forcewires to be bent to fit which can be difficult if low gauge high performance wires are used. The Pioneer shallow subwoofer’s patent-pending, angled push terminals make it easy to connect speaker wires. The straighter connection saves space and makes installation easier.

Thanks to its innovative enclosure design, the TS-SWX2002 enclosure can be installed freely in the cabin or luggage area for optimal utilization of space. Compact space-saving dimensions make it easy to install the subwoofer in a variety of trucks- standard-cab, extended-cab, or crew-cab.The enclosure is fully carpeted, creating a non-slip and scratch resistant surface.
